What`s in my hospital bag

Hi guys 😊 I thought it would be helpful to do a little "What`s in my hospital bag"post . I remember when i had to pack mine i packed a ton of staff i never used and now that i know i thought it will help others and maybe make it a bit easier for new moms. Of course every person is different and there are things you may want to bring that are not on my list. I give birth in London at Queens Charlotte Hospital and here it is what i packed:

  FOR ME:

  1. SOMETHING FOR LABOR- at hospital you have the option to wear a hospital gown or you can bring your own, i wore the hospital gown because i didn`t want to make mine dirty 
  2. NURSING VESTS- i prefer the nursing vests over the nursing bras they offer support for your breast and your tummy in the same time,and take about 4 of them because you gone sweat a lot
  3. LOOSE COMFY PAJAMAS- something you like 
  4. NURSING BREAST PADS-if you breast feed
  5. NIPPLE CREAM 
  6. SLIPPERS-
  7. TOILETRY-your choice but nothing more then a shower gel,toothbrush,toothpaste and deodorant
  8. MATERNITY TOWELS-with wings pack of 24 
  9. TOWEL-you can bring your own or you can use the hospital one 
  10. SOCKS
  11. BAG FOR DIRTY CLOTHES
  12. CLOTHES TO GO HOME

 FOR BABY:

  1. SLEEP SUITS- about 5 because you never know their poop gets every were 
  2. SHORT SLEEVES BODY SUITS-again 5
  3. COTTON HATS-maybe 2
  4. BIBS-about 5 
  5. NAPPIES- pack 26 
  6. EXTRA LARGE COTTON BALLS-
  7. NAPPY CREAM-i used SUDOCREM
  8. WET WIPES- i used Water Wipes i think they are the best for a new born baby 
  9. PRAM SUIT OR SNOWSUIT- know this is if you give birth in the winter 
  10. BLANKET-
  11. BABY TOILETRY- just a head to toe wash your choice 
  12. CAR SEAT- if you travel by car

INGREDIENTS  300 g prunes 2 liter water METHOD  Place the prunes and water into a pan and bring it to boil, then lower the heat cover and simmer for another 2 min . How to make elderflower champagne

It is elderflower season and nothing can be more refreshing than a nice cold glass of low alcohol champagne made just with few ingredients. Elderflower wilts quickly so make it as soon as possible.  INGREDIENTS  • 5 L water bottle  • 5 elderflower flowers fully opened with lots of pollen and make sure you don't wash them  • 1 lemon peeled than sliced  • 10 tablespoons of sugar • very small pinch of yeast  METHOD  1. Take out about a cup of water out of the water bottle.  2. Add the sugar and yeast to the bottle and shake until the sugar is dissolved.  3. Add the sliced lemon than the elderflower flowers, put the lid on and shake the bottle once then place it into a bright warm place with the lid off , just cover briefly . 4. Little Red Riding Hood story map

Hi everyone 😊 long time since I wrote something 😁 and to be honest I don't know were to start 🙃. This pandemic turned everything a bit upside down and apart from homeschooling, cooking, cleaning and gardening I haven't done much. Over the summer holiday my son had some homework to do in which was required to draw some story maps for some fairytales and I looked everywhere for some inspiration but I didn't found anything helpful that's way I decided to post what my son did , maybe will help give you some ideas 😊 .
