Baby food vegetables and rice

  VEGETABLES AND RICE
      

                INGREDIENTS: 
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 parsnip
  • 1/2 celery stick
  • 1 garlic clove 
  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 1/2 sweet potato
  • 2 mushrooms 
  • 1 cup of rice 
  • 500 ml of water or more if needed 
  • 1 tbs olive oil 
  • pinch of salt over 1 year
  • pinch of mix herbs 
               METHOD:
  1. Chop all the vegetables in small pieces 
  2. In to a medium pan on a medium fire worm the oil and saute all the vegetables for 5 minutes
  3. After 5 minutes add the rice and the herbs mix
  4. Add the water bring to boil, lower the heat and cover 
  5. Cook in till the rice is done and the water is absorbed ( if the rice is not cooked and the water is absorbed, add more water it should have the consistency of a risotto)
