Beef with tomatoes sauce
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 beef steak
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 1 red pepper cored and deseeded
- 1/2 parsnip
- 3 small carrots
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 celery stalk
- 1 onion
- 1 teaspoon salt ( for babies over 1 year)
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 mini chopper or a food processor
- Mince the steak in your food processor
- In a saucepan heat the oil and fry the beef until browned
- Meanwhile chop your vegetables in your food processor (pepper,parsnip,carrots.garlic,celery stalk,onion)
- Add the chopped vegetables to the browned beef and saute for 5 min
- After 5 minutes add the chopped tomatoes, salt, oregano, sugar and 1/2 cup water, bring to boil then cover, lower the fire and cook for 30 minutes.
