Cabbage soup
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cabbage
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 thick slice of bacon cut into pieces
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- water jut to cover
- Slice the cabbage into a bowl and add the salt, massage the two together and leave for 30 minutes
- After 30 minutes into a medium pan heat the oil and saute the onion and bacon for 5 minutes
- Add the paprika to the pan and mix, stir in the cabbage and cover with water
- Bring to boil then cover and reduce the heat to low cook for about 30 minutes or until cabbage in soften
you can make this vegan by leaving the bacon out
