How to make bread at home

 INGREDIENTS:
  • 730g of flour 
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt 
  • 7 g easy bake yeast
  • 500 ml warm water 
  • extra flour for kneading 
  • a bit of olive oil
METHOD:
  1. Mix the flour, sugar, salt, yeast in a big bowl and mix in the warm water with your hand.
  2. Tip the mix onto a lightly flour dusted surface and knead for 5 min.
  3. Into a large greased bowl with olive oil put the dough and cover with cling film. Leave it to rise for 30 min in a warm place.
  4. After 30 min knock back the dough and knead a bit to get the air out . Shape into a ball and place it on a baking sheet lightly floured, with a very sharp knife cut some shapes on top and cover with a tea towel. Leave it to rise for another 20 min or until doubled in size,  in a warm place. 
  5. Preheat your oven to 180 ℃ and place the tray on to the middle shelf and bake for 45 min. I like to cool it on a wood board covered with a tea towel so the outside is not to hard.
TIP: you know if the bread is ready if you tap on the base and it sounds hollow 😏 .
