How to roast chestnuts in the oven

Hello everyone autumn is one the most colourful season and a bit dramatic with shorter days and more darkness , not my favourite I must say. One of the only thinks I love this time a year are roasted chestnuts and I have the perfect recipe and more to the point the trick to get their skin off easily :

  1. Preheat you oven at 180℃ .
  2. Into a bowl put your chestnuts and cover with water , let them soak for 10 minutes .
  3. After 10 minutes drain the water and with a small knife cut a cross on one side .
      4. Place them on a baking tray lined with aluminium foil or backing paper and roast for 20 minutes .
TIP: When you take the chestnuts out cover them with a tea towel for 5 minutes before you peel them, this will make them easy to peel 😉.

Hope this helps you make a delicious snack for you and your family 😊. Have a good day 😘 💋.
