Monday tradition seaweed soup my recipe
Hi guys 😊 seaweed soup has become one of my favourite soups, it has so many good health benefits i had to make it a once a week think . I make it with dry wakame which is a sea vegetable with a briny flavour and slightly chewy and slippery texture.
- 1 tbs dry wakame
- 2 cups water
- 3 sliced mushrooms
- 2 cloves of garlic mince
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon fermented soy bean paste
- Soak the dried seaweed for about 30 min in cold water to rehydrate from this

- Add the water to a pan and bring it to boil . Drain your seaweed and add it to the pan, lower the heat and boil, covered for 30 min .
- After 30 min add your sliced mushrooms and garlic, cover and boil for another 5 min.
- In the last 2 min of boiling add all your aromatics fish sauce, soy sauce and soy paste and the salt if needed, mix and is ready to serve .
