Stuffed peppers my mum recipe

Hi guys 😊 as i promise on Bloglovin` here is my mum recipe for stuffed peppers 😉
INGREDIENTS 
  • 8 small to medium peppers
  • 200 g mince beef 
  • 1 cup of rice
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 tbs oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes 
  • 2 teaspoon salt 
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper 
  • 1 tbs of flour 
  • water just to cover 
METHOD 
  1. Cut the top of your peppers and scoop out the seeds .                                                              
  2. Saute the onion and the rest of the peppers tops on a medium high heat for 5 min , then add 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper and 1 cup of rice, mix and turn the fire off . When the mixture cooled a bit add it on top of the mince meat in a bowl and mix together .
  3. Scoop the mixture into the peppers but leave 1 cm space on top because the rice will swallow and place them into a deep saucepan .
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes on top and water just to cover ,season with the last spoon of salt, bring it to boil then cover and lower the heat . Cook for 45 min to 1 hour( you don`t have to mix them just let them boil low and slow ) .
  5. Just before they are done in the last 5 min, mix 1 tbs of flour with 1/5 cup of water and add it on top to thicken the sauce , cover and don`t mix .
If you like you can add some parsley on top at the end as well 😉 i didn`t have any 😀 i`m trying to grow my own from seed and so far i have 2 leaves 😊 but anyway hope you enjoy my mum recipe and give it a go  😊 😘 💋 💖
