Christmas jolly jars ideas
Hello everyone 😊 my son started at a new school this year and we been introduce to all kinds of new experiences . It has been a bit of a challenge in the beginning but he loves being part of it and as long as he is happy i`m happy to . One of the events that the PTA organised this year was a jolly jar competition and i think they doing such an amazing job raising found for our school .
For the snowman jar i paint one clean jar white and while it was drying i made his hat . I cut two circles one after the measurement of the jar lid and another one smaller , plus a stripe of paper for the hat height .
I paint them black , let them dry then i glued them with hot glue and to cover the edges i used silver pipe cleaner .
I used the silver pipe cleaner around the jar lid as well with hot glue the i glue the hat on top of the lid and used three small pom poms as a small detail .
Then i took the dried white jar and with hot glue i glued his eyes , mouth , nose , buttons and his scarf . For the Elf jar i paint a clean jar green, let it dry then with the red glass paint i went on top of the green paint to make a shirt collar
On top of the red paint i painted again with a mix of pva glue and red glitter , and i sprinkled some more glitter on top and let it dry .
Meanwhile i started to make the elf hat and i`m so sorry i don`t have any pictures for more details but i can just tell you how i done it . I glued some white and red pipe cleaner around a paper cone and at the top i glued a green pom pom . I then glued the cone to the jar lid . On the side of the jar lid i hot glued some red and green pom poms . For the elf buttons i used some snowflakes confetti .
Hope you enjoy it 😊 follow if you like 😀 😘 💖
