How to add retinol into your skincare routine

Hello 😊 it is never to late to start preventing fine lines , break outs and skin discolouration and the simple way to do that besides staying hydrated and eating well is to add retinol in to your skin care routine . Retinol it is another form of vitamin A is the most used and studied anti aging compounds and reduce fine lines and wrinkles by increasing the production of collagen . It also stimulate the production of new blood vessels in the skin , which improves skin color . The only down side to it is that it can cause redness , dry skin and flaking that is way is recommended to start with a lower dosage of retinol like 0.2 % and build from there . I have been using The Ordinary 0.2% then i moved on to 0.5% for the past year and so , and i definitely saw improvement to my skin , it is more brighter , smoother , less fine lines and my pores are less visible .


It is a good idea to start adding it to your night time routine because it is deactivated by light . I usually start with a cleanse , then i will mix few drops of hyaluronic acid with few drops of retinol and i massage in to my skin making sure i avoid my eye area , leave it for few minutes to absorb then i seal it with my night cream . So far i like to use retinol from The Ordinary it is super affordable so you really can`t go wrong with it .
