How to manage scalp eczema
Hey guys 😊 if you follow me for a while i mentioned that i have eczema and not on the body on my head 😓 how can i be so lucky 😐 i don`t know . They are a lot of treatments out there to control and manage scalp eczema but not all of them work . Scalp eczema is a type of eczema that causes inflamed, itchy, dry skin to form on your scalp . The most common type of scalp eczema is seborrhoeic dermatitis which i have . Sometimes i have periods when my symptoms are less noticeable and periods when my symptoms become more severe and i flare up , this usually happened in the winter . I know it can be very disturbing when everybody stares at you, at times when my skin was very bad i didn`t want to leave the house it was very difficult to cope with physically and mentally. Anyway better now , after trying a lot of products and talking with a lot of doctors i manage to control it and i only get one or two patches of red skin now and then . The only product that really helped my scalp is a pink shampoo called NIZORAL
It is an anti-dandruff shampoo which not only treats and prevents dandruff , but also the inflammation , redness and itching and for me it works from the first use . After i wash my hair once with Neutrogena T/gel for sensitive scalp
, i then apply a small amount of Nizoral shampoo on my scalp or the most affected areas and i massage in till it lathers . I leave it on for about 5 minutes then i rinse thoroughly . When my scalp goes crazy i use it every other day . Hope this helps 😊 have a great day 😘 💋 💖
