How to moisturize your skin naturally

Image
Hi guys 😊 hope you are all well and stay at home to protect yourself and people you love . With everything going on is getting harder and harder to go to the shops and try products. I don't know about you but I like to feel the texture of a cream or a product before I buy it, or at least watch 100 videos with reviews. Recently I run out of my body moisturizer 😫 and with my dry skin that is not good . Another way to keep my skin moisturized is by using natural products that I bet we all have them in our kitchens 😉 nothing fancy and they are without any added chemicals . 1. Coconut oil  Coconut oil is one of the best moisturizer, is the only oil I used on my son skin when he was born and I use it on my cooking as well. It enhances collagen production and gives you a natural skin glow. It has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties to keep your skin healthy and helps with moisture retention 😉 . 2. Oats  Oats are another natur...

Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 night serum

Image
Hey 😊 hope you are all well and stay safe at home. Now i know what you going to say : "Another retinol ?" and believe me i understand , but is not every day you come across such an affordable price, it is a bit more expensive then the one from The Ordinary but was on sale in Boots and i really wanted to try it . For a month and a bit i think i been using the new Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 night serum and i am really happy with the results . It is formulated with Vitamin B3 and Olay`s Retinoid complex that deeply penetrates the skin and helps with more then just the wrinkles. One think that i really love about it, is that is non-greasy , it just sinks into my skin seconds after i apply it and it is approved for daily use.  Retinol can be intimidating to some because if used incorrectly can do some serious damage to the skin and also many retinol products are very expensive and for the most part they don`t do anything different then the ones in the dr...

2020 Skincare trends

Image
Hey 😊 to continue with our beauty trends for 2020 and to keep us fresh let`s talk about the skincare trends for this year 😉. Skincare is a beauty trend that is about to become more transparent and more bespoke then ever before .  1. Microbiome just like your gut ,your skin has a community of billions of living microorganisms , also know as skin flora and it is called skin microbiome . When your skin microbiome is in balanced , it can negatively influence the skin , which can lead to dryness , redness and weakened surface that more quickly shows signs of aging from environmental attack . Applying good prebiotics and probiotics to your skin can help keep your skin balanced , younger looking and strong . 2. Custom made skincare that is made to work for your skin , because not all of us have the same skin type . This can be made by your own dermatologist or specialist, and then there is artificial intelligence like Proveskin.com that can help you with what ...

How to add retinol into your skincare routine

Image
Hello 😊 it is never to late to start preventing fine lines , break outs and skin discolouration and the simple way to do that besides staying hydrated and eating well is to add retinol in to your skin care routine . Retinol it is another form of vitamin A is the most used and studied anti aging compounds and reduce fine lines and wrinkles by increasing the production of collagen . It also stimulate the production of new blood vessels in the skin , which improves skin color . The only down side to it is that it can cause redness , dry skin and flaking that is way is recommended to start with a lower dosage of retinol like 0.2 % and build from there . I have been using The Ordinary 0.2% then i moved on to 0.5% for the past year and so , and i definitely saw improvement to my skin , it is more brighter , smoother , less fine lines and my pores are less visible . It is a good idea to start adding it to your night time routine because it is deactivated by light . I usually sta...
